Our observations from September 18. The current beta and talent trees have evolved since then.
Character creation offers a primary and a secondary name. Our new test character entered Northshire with both.
Observed in the beta clientFirst launch offers Classic and Enhanced presets. They differ in character models and display aids, among other settings.
Observed in the beta clientOathbound reads the new class talent structure in the client. Talent purchases and Legacy talents remain untested. The website planner therefore remains a preview.
Checked in the client and UI sourceBeta.30 is installed in the Forever client and supports new runs through 30. The free edition needs no code. Earlier UI and persistence tests do not replace native acceptance of this version, which remains pending. Classic stays separate.
Our client tests: character creation, Northshire and stationary addon checks. No combat, level-60 or two-player acceptance test. Technical context: Blizzard UI source in the independent Gethe mirror, matching build 1.60.1.69913 exactly. This is not a complete database export and does not confirm untested talent values. Beta content may change.
